I have a calendar full of appointments starting today, with the dentist this morning and the gyno this afternoon. No idea what I was thinking booking my two fun things on the same day, but Hello Monday!
Tuesday and Wednesday look similar, except those days events will actually be fun, and then I'm heading out of town for a reunion with old friends in one of my favorite places-camp. I've committed to giving a brief devotional on Saturday morning to the group (not sweating that at all-ha!), and will also be run/walking a 5K, both of which require some prep time this week. Actually, that 5K prep should have been an ongoing thing, but whatever.
On top of that, the dust is approximately knee deep on my furniture, my Plantation shutters are not going to clean themselves, and my patio pots need attention, i.e.-plants.
So-that's the
Wherever this Monday morning finds you, enjoy!
Sometimes I get to ten o'clock at night, and think, "Oh No I need to write my blog!" Now is a tough time for me too. Too many things on my plate!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week Joyce!
Your Monday sounds, um, awful. I could never do that. Good idea for a HP snow day. Summer gets soooo busy! We'll have 22 people at the lakehouse this weekend, and I have 2 days of jury duty this week, so I'll be a tad bit busy myself. :) Have a great camp reunion!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Goodness do I ever get it. No worries. Two appointments on the same day? Especially those two? brave gal, haha. Get through today and then ENJOY the rest of your week...
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a vacation...including you! Get through today's appts and have a good rest of the week. See you next Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. I try to book all appointments during the summer (try not to miss school). Summer is hectic around here-this summer is even more hectic the previous ones--our new business adventure will be opening soon. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that's quite the appt. line up. Ick. :)
ReplyDeleteBusy weeks are good for us, don'tcha think? At the very least it gives us something to 'say.' :)
Have a good one!
I would say have fun, but some of that stuff sounds like no fun at all. So have fun where you can and somewhere in all that busyness try to find some rest time too. See you when your back.
ReplyDeleteJust remember which part to open wide when going from one specialist to the other! Sorry, couldn't resist. You don't have to print this comment if it's not famiky blog friendly enough! Selfishly i am glad you are skipping the hp this week because i know i can'tparticate. I am writing this comments between wolfing down dinner and going back out to hunt for the perfc necklace for "my" wedding dress.
ReplyDeleteI love it when people prioritize well. Enjoy your reunion. I know those ladies mean a lot to you.
ReplyDeleteNo worries....it's all understandable. You work long hours on Hodgepodge weekly, and after having a meme myself for a while, I DO UNDERSTAND how time consuming it can be, and a need to put it on the back burner. Life is #1 importance.
ReplyDeleteSee you next week then.
It sounds like once you get past todays appointments and the dusting it will all be good!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun week and we'll see you when we see you!
Will be thinking of you having fun!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteNo problem on the "snow day" ... we'll still be here next week. ;-) Now that you have your appointments behind you, enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with a snow day! We appreciate all the effort involved with doing Hodgepodge each week. See you next week.
ReplyDeleteWell darn! But hey, I totally understand how being busy can throw a curve ball into your regular routine.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're getting a chance to visit friends.
Enjoy your week (the fun stuff). :)
Yay for snow days, especially in June! Good for you! Now get through the appointments and find a way to have fun. :)
ReplyDeleteYour life sounds about as busy as mine is these days! No problem about the "snow day". Enjoy your break and we'll still be here next week :)
ReplyDeleteThe gyno and the dentist all in one day?! LOL
Miss you, but have a good week my friend. Enjoy the reunion. I love meeting up with people I have not seen in a bit. I am actually working this week....English Dept. meetings all day Tuesday and Wednesday with a Dr. Appt. thrown in.
ReplyDeleteAww gee. Everybody does need a snow day now and again. Have a great week and will look forward to next week's questions.
ReplyDeleteYikes, that sounds like quite the Monday! :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break.
Yikes! Hope your week calmed down! :)
