I tend to look at the prompts when she posts them, and that helps me notice little things throughout the week that might work. I also like to add words to my pictures and make it more of a blog post because I'm better at words than pictures.
Usually. The fonts in this post are all over the place and I could not seem to correct that. C'est la blog.
Some weeks I get mine in just under the wire, and I missed last week's altogether, but I'm sharing the most recent here today. Kym posts new prompts every two weeks so you have some time to play. I'm also linking today with Joanne at Slices of Life for her weekly Talking About It Tuesday hop.
Okay, here's what we're working with this time around-
neighborhood spot~ink~smooth~checked~sunrise and/or sunset~at home~
Neighborhood spot...
Not right in my neighborhood, but nearby and a place for neighbors to gather-
Books, which are full of my favorite kind of ink-the written word. This is my current stash just waiting to be read.
smooth....
checked....
I'm finally pulling out a few fall themed items for the house, and on Monday I switched out some pillows on the couch-
Look at that little cutie. I haven't seen this photo in years, and I know it doesn't fit the prompt, but it does make me smile. When I look at this picture today I see how much Daughter2's little Sugar looks like her momma. Her momma was three here, so a little older than Sugar is now, but that face! It's the same.
Sunrise and/or sunset....
Well if you read here you know I'm never without a sunrise photo-
And lastly, at home....
When you live on a lake the water is home.
Some great photos, they made me feel good, love looking at water
ReplyDeleteI posted my Everyday Images as well today... I struggled with sunrise/sunset because I generally have NO pictures of those on my phone. I took one yesterday morning at school because I've noticed I can sort of kind of see the sunrise when I sub at this one school. If I didn't get the shot, I was going to create a new prompt for my sunrise and sunset-less camera roll :). Your pictures are all good- love the throw back one of your daughter. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun blog post! I think you can learn so much about a person by what is on their camera roll. All selfies - narcissist! Just kidding!
ReplyDeleteI'm always impressed when someone knows that soccer is played on a pitch! Sounds like you hit the jackpot in the attic! Love those pillow covers. Off we go into the beautiful months of Autumn!
ReplyDeleteI really need to participate in a photo prompt. I love the way your creativeness is fired up with a photo challenge.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. I know that one of your sweet girl evoked many happy memories.
What a gleeful toddler, your sweet #2! Lately, I've been discouraged by my inability to come up with something new ... and here you are! I've already signed up to receive Kym's next photo challenge. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images. Good luck with 1984.. that is one dark read.
ReplyDeleteFab photos!
ReplyDeleteThat field looks a great place to hang out and what the little one's and their sports.
It sounds like a great trip down memory lane discovering the stash of letters, cards and photos!
That paint splatter backdrop in the photo just reminds me of all the JC Penney and Picture People pictures we had taken! And what a sweet smile! I hope you like Go as a River and The Correspondent as much as I did.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and they do go with the prompts! Old photos always slow me down too. It's so great that we have them and the memories that they spark when we see them. I sure enjoyed my visit here today!! xo
ReplyDeleteAww, Bitty Baby! I've got her plus some other AG dolls packed away, too. Maybe one day I'll get a sweet grand so I'll have an excuse to bring them out of storage. Strolls down memory lane are the best.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED The Correspondent when I read it this past summer! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on that book! And I love your beautiful lake home photos- there is something about water that is so calming!
ReplyDeleteThese are all lovely photos, but I especially enjoyed “smooth” and “sunrise.”
ReplyDeleteI will try to read the whole post later. Have to get ready to travel. Just wanted to say that James loves soccer and plays a great game. Hope to watch him on one of the Saturdays.
ReplyDeleteThese are some really lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I am especially entranced by your lake photos.
ReplyDeleteFirst, I need to apologize . . . InLinkz doesn't send me notifications any more, so I missed these from the last Everyday Images until today! Still, I loved all your photos, especially the "smooth" and "at home" shots. I love to see the different ways we interpret the prompts. Thanks so much for linking up!
