Wasn't the weather just amazing? So beautiful!! With real nice, cool breezes blowing! It was crystal clear looking down from the Blue Ridge Parkway into the valleys below. We hated to come back home last night to the heat in the city. Oh well, we are going back up in 2 weeks, so that gives us something to look forward to. Have a safe trip back home and don't work too hard unpacking this week. You will have your daughters' visit to look forward to. Have a great day. You could have been in my neck of the woods!Barretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16882081453719974280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934122631054104275.post-10085709392219844762009-07-25T00:37:56.128-04:002009-07-25T00:37:56.128-04:00I love your posts, Joyce.

I got that from my grandmother. My Dad's family was big on games. She was 79 and I was 9, but we were an excellent team--and nobody would play with us! (probably because after we got through mopping the floor with those losers, they'd sulk and quit. Hey, it's like this: if I've got hotels on Marvin Gardens, Ventnor, and Atlantic, and you land on them, you owe me RENT. Lots of it. Pay up. And no made-up rules!)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06584588658233756298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934122631054104275.post-25652767806268126372009-07-24T23:11:05.795-04:002009-07-24T23:11:05.795-04:00Sorority reunions are so much fun. Do you mind sharing which sorority?

Oh, and I love, love, love board games. They drove well, but it's just scary.

My husband took my daughter around the block several times and taught her to parallel park. I still can't do that.

Enjoy the time with your sorority sisters. Sounds like lots of fun.
I know what you mean when you say 25 years sounds like a long time. We stood at church during celebration recognition time for our 30th!!!! wedding anniversary and that sounded SOOOO old.

Glad you had a good trip.

Love,
Valerievaleriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03506291993756087418noreply@blogger.com
