Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 655

Here are the questions to this week's Hodgepodge. Answer on your own blog, then hop back here on Wednesday (May 27th) to add your link to the party. See you there!

1. Do you like your name? Are you named after someone (grandparent, etc)? If you have children how did you choose their names?

2.  A piece of red velvet cake, a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a slice of blueberry pie? You can only have one...which will you choose? If you could pick any red, white, or blue dessert other than those listed here, what would you choose?

3.  What's a job you'd like to try for just one day?

4. Any patriotic decor in your home currently or coming up this summer?

5. It's the end of May, so let's exercise our brains. Sum up your month with an acrostic using the word MAY. We can do it!!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

  3. 1. Not a big fan of my name although it IS quite versatile. I don't mind being called "Ken," "Kenny," or "Kenneth." I'm named after my father and for years I was known as "Little Kenny." Then "Big Kenny" passed away and I became "Living Kenny." Before you think I'm being overly harsh, he was not a very nice man.
And here you thought (probably not) that my name was "Al."
    2. Blueberry Pie. But, I wouldn't complain about the others.
    3. I'd like to be a standup comedian. Or an author. A successful one.
    4. I have two little patriotic gnomes on my mantle. But, come July 5th? Off to the attic they go! With the Halloween skeletons.
    5. Many
    Attempts
    Yodeling
(the neighbors have contacted the authorities).
    6. I'm convinced there is no butter in Hell. This is why. You know how an old wives tale has you put butter on a burn to soothe it? Well, as you suffer the fires of torment (as "Dead Ken" undoubtedly is), there will be no butter to alleviate the anguish.
That's it for now. Gonna give yodeling another shot.
