Yearning

The word yearn, when used as a verb, is defined as follows:

1. to have an earnest or strong desire; long for
2. to feel tenderness; be moved or attracted

Yup.
That's the word I was looking for today.

Y is for yearning

Since I am yearning for London and cannot be there in person and it's Royal Wedding Day I thought I'd do the next best thing and post some photos from the years we spent living in my favorite city in the world...Cheers!

The slideshow takes a few seconds to load and runs about 2 minutes...
what else do you have to do on a Friday?

  7. Very nice slide show! I noticed some similarities between Charleston and there---some buildings; building materials; grassy, tree lined avenues...

  9. I've just enjoyed watching your slideshow - thank you! I hate to say I live only an hour from London and I don't think I've seen half the places you show - ooops!! Time to take a sightseeing trip in London while my sister is over in June, I think :)
