The word yearn, when used as a verb, is defined as follows:

1. to have an earnest or strong desire; long for
2. to feel tenderness; be moved or attracted

That's the word I was looking for today.

Y is for yearning

Since I am yearning for London and cannot be there in person and it's Royal Wedding Day I thought I'd do the next best thing and post some photos from the years we spent living in my favorite city in the world...Cheers!

The slideshow takes a few seconds to load and runs about 2 minutes...

    Have a great weekend :)

  4. I loved watching the wedding especially seeing all the places we visited in London. She looked beautiful and it was so magical. Have a wonderful weekend!

  5. I hope you enjoyed the wedding! I was in tears! Thank goodness it didn't rain, and actually this afternoon we had a fair bit of sun in London!

  6. I've been thinking about you. Were you up at the crack of dawn to watch the royal wedding?

  7. Very nice slide show! I noticed some similarities between Charleston and there---some buildings; building materials; grassy, tree lined avenues...

  8. That was so much fun. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

  9. I've just enjoyed watching your slideshow - thank you! I hate to say I live only an hour from London and I don't think I've seen half the places you show - ooops!! Time to take a sightseeing trip in London while my sister is over in June, I think :)
