On the bright side, I'm having my highlights done today so all will soon be almost right with the world. And then I'm going for a pedicure. There is nothing like a great haircut and color topped off with a pedicure to clear the foggy head and provide clarity about life's big decisions. At least that's what I'm hoping.
Plus, I think...I think that I might possibly meet my very first blog stranger friend tomorrow. And I'm not going to say anything else about that either. Aren't you glad you popped in here today to not read about stuff. I will most definitely be writing about it after the fact but I want to make sure it actually happens before I do.
Enjoy your weekend everyone...hey, it's Thursday, that's practically the weekend, right?
When people come to my blog, it's always "to not read about stuff." lol ;D
ReplyDeleteI love it when you're not talking.....just sayin. lol. Have a great day. Blessings, SusanD
ReplyDeleteIn like fashion, I will just keep my comments to myself! (LOL)
ReplyDeleteI will share that I have been giving serious thought to re-entering the workforce myself. It is enough o=to make you head spin around a few times...makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it!
Blessings

I enjoyed this post about what you can't tell us because ignorance is bliss! lol! Just kidding. Good luck with the job, I think. I couldn't tell if you really wanted the job or not but good luck either way! And have fun meeting the blog friend that you may or may not enjoy!
ReplyDeletelol!
I think you have grounds for divorce over that alarm clock incident.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job prospect. :)
I would have been throwing pillows and anything else I could find at the clock until it was destroyed. Love the "ridunkulous o'clock". Great words!
ReplyDeleteooh well good luck with the job (if you want it hope you get it) and can't wait to hear about your bloggy friend visit :) Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletesounds like a great day...i need to do both of those visits, too! ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteLove hearing and not hearing about your potential job and possible Blogger meeting! I need to look for a job before the first of the year I'm excited but nervous..not sure what I want to do. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWell... Have a great hair/toe rejuvenating day!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll just wait to "hear" about whatever else happens or doesn't happen today. :)
Joyce,
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think that we often carry so much around inside us and it clouds our ability to reason. However during getting your hair done and pedicure, you will eliminate some of those issues that have been floating around inside and am confident that you will do the right thing.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Have a great weekend. Love the idea of a pedicure! Almost as good as a massage at relieving the tension built up inside.
ReplyDeleteBy the way...you commented on my blog that you couldn't use the link...did you try to copy and paste? (I probably should have just put the video on the screen but I haven't tried to figure out how to do that.)
What? You've got a lot going on! I hate not being able to blog about work because THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH ARE CERTIFIABLE.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of scared to meet a stranger friend! Then they'll be able to put a name with a face!
ReplyDeleteIt is like a Seinfeld episode...a blog post about nothing, but such a big hit!!
ReplyDeleteI don't do well with cliffhangers. ;)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to meet a blog friend. Valerie and I had such an awesome time meeting each other last year, but it is weird meeting someone that you know so much about, but have not met in person. You would have thought we had known each other forever. We talked non-stop. Good luck with the job if that is what you want. I did not know you were thinking about going back to work. Have a nice weekend. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteI've met several blogging friends in person and LOVE it! I so hope it works out. I am still amazed at the special friendships I've made through blogging. In fact, I'm meeting a blogging friend here in a little while for breakfast at IHOP!
ReplyDeleteLove your new header. I'm sorry I've not been by here lately. Camp, girls trip, vacation....I'm so frustrated because I'm so behind. I do love coming over here to your blog though.
Have a great day. Good luck with the job. I know it'll work out just the way it's supposed to.
Love ya!
Ridunkulous o'clock? I'm borrowing that one. Are you going to work for the CIA? Because that would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteWell. You aren't meeting me. :(
ReplyDeleteKidding!
Good luck with everything!
Joyce, I'm hoping you get the job! Sometimes they can be scarce, especially now.
ReplyDeleteI met a bunch of blog strangers along with one I knew at our Blogstock '08. We all had fun. It would be scarier if it were just one. Same sex I hope?

Our Londoners are about to settle in. Mrs. Jim is staying on until August 4 as Granny Nanny. Her 'hubs' and step-daughter should be coming August 3. They picked a flat in St. John's Wood. They still have a house to sell here n Katy, Texas.

I look forward to a future post to learn if you entered the workforce. It seems the most logical thing to do. I often daydream about re-entering the workforce upon our return to the U.S. With the kids all gone, what else is there to do?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take much to keep me awake tossing and turning these days. Those are usually the mornings that someone at my house leaves the alarm on too.
ReplyDeleteAre you headed this way anytime soon?
