The weather could not have been more perfect, and because it was a Wednesday morning we had the whole place practically to ourselves. Beauty was in abundance, literally spilling up and over every rock and river bed. Sunlight was captured in the leafy embrace of a forest, filtered through the reds and golds of the mighty oak and the strong maple.
How do you put into words the golden magic of an Autumn day? Maybe you don't...maybe there are still some things in this world that are Indescribable...

ReplyDeleteWonderful video! I was there when I was a teenager. We should go back......soon!
ReplyDeleteJoyce, I've been to the falls on many of occasions. Aren't they just gorgeous? It's a nice hike and a beautiful setting. We try to get out there at least once a year.
ReplyDeleteOh, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous falls and surrounding....so nice to have it all to yourselves also.

ReplyDeleteMagnificent song to go with the beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteWow...that's absolutely breathtaking and "Indescribable" is the perfect song for it. God is one AMAZING artist!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful spot to visit. That stairway is amazing! Love the colors and the falls. Also love the ferns, they are always my favorite in the woods when I come across them.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking! And I have to tell you, picture number 37 freaked me out. When I first looked, i thought it was a black bear eating a piece of fruit from a low-hanging branch, standing there in front of the cave-like structure. Do you see it? Look at the shape of the darkest area and tell me if you can see it. A black bear, sitting on hind legs, green eyes looking ravenously hungry, apple like fruit ) in mouth. I thought, "NO!!! JOYCE!!!! DON"T JUST STAND THERE WITH YOUR CAMERA!!! RUN!!!!!" :)
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are just gorgeous! Don't you just love fall?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
