1. What is one food you detest?
Sadly I can only think of one-liver. Oh wait-haggis. And river eels. I've never actually eaten them but hubs picture of the river eels he ate while in China makes me gag just a little. Anyone else think Survivor when they see this photo?
2. What is your perfect day?
A sunny day at the beach with my family all around.
A sunny day in London with my family all around.
Any day in London.
3. If you could take a vacation next week where would you go?
If you read here regularly you will be shocked by my answer.
Italy.

- Sincerely Shannon (my daughter)
- Billy Coffey

- It's Not Easy Being Queen
5. What are your thoughts on the facebook?
um, I like it.
6. Are your parents technological goobers like mine?
I think she means am I a technological goober like her parents since her parents and I are of a similar generation. Ahem.
No I am not a technological goober. My children may disagree but I must remind them I started a blog without any kid assistance. I have also successfully loaded a couple thousand songs onto my ipod, not two like Taylor's dad who btw I'm sure is not an actual goober. I got an ipad for my birthday and am figuring that out all by myself too. I may not get the technology as quickly as my kids do but I try.

losing 15 pounds permanently
8. What is your best recipe (so I can steal)?
I don't have a 'best' recipe but I have a few I like a lot. This time of year one of my faves is tortilla soup which is delish. Email me if you'd like it sent your way.
Enjoy your Sunday....Go Phillies!
Joyce,
ReplyDeleteI would agree with the river eels, that truly is a Survivor challenge. None for me thanks I'll pass.
Love Billy's blog too, its just like home.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Those were fun questions. Could barely look at that first picture. I think I would choose the 15 pounds too! Hope your weekend has been fun.
ReplyDeleteEW EW EW on the eels! I can't believe he actually ate that.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm pretty tech savy too if I say so myself. I mean, when you can manage your own blog, maintain FB, tweet, upload pictures and skype I think that's pretty darn non-goobery. :)
Hey thanks for picking me as one of your favorites. You're one of mine too!
I don't think you're a technological goober anymore! xox
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I looked at your blog after dinner (and dessert)! I can't imagine having to eat that so that your guests aren't insulted!
ReplyDeleteEels....gross
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along :)
ReplyDeleteI dislike mushrooms. But liver sounds equally nasty. :)
Yes, go Phillies (says the Cardinals fan who now hates the Reds with a red-hot passion once reserved for the Cubs LOL).
ReplyDeleteAnd ewwww ewwww ewwww at river eels (says the woman who'll eat just about anything, including oysters on the half shell ... but NOT river eels!)
Why on earth would anyone eat that? Glad I already had desert.
ReplyDeleteI'm leaving for Venice tomorrow. From there we will embark on a two week cruise to places like Croatia, Montenegro, Turkey and lots of Greek Isles, ending up in Athens.
ReplyDeleteI actually had never liked liver until I was pregnant with my first son. During the last month I started a craving for chicken liver. Go figure!
