A Hodgepodge of Pictures and Words

Before I post the questions for this week's Wednesday Hodgepodge I'm going to sneak in my February photo challenge picture of the day. Picture of yesterday actually, and the prompt was 'dinner'. Hubs was not home for dinner on Monday evening so I made myself a salad. Do you really want to see what I ate for dinner? Regardless of your answer, here it is-

Tuesday's prompt is 'button'.

I gotta tell ya, some of these prompts are straining my creativity but I refuse to quit. I contemplated taking a picture of my navel (you get it, right?) but thought that might be too much after the salad photo so I went with this one-

I took this picture on Sunday afternoon after a long uphill hike. I know there are shadows and the light is all wrong but my pup was worn out and needed to rest in the shade. She is cute as a 'button' though, don't you think?

And now, what you're really here to see....the weekly Wednesday Hodgepodge. Answer the questions on your own blog and then hop back over here tomorrow to share answers with the rest of the internets.

  3. When you said button, I immediately thought cute as a button. And by the way, your salad just looks too tiny to be a full dinner:)

  4. Joyce, I have a similiar dinner when my hubby is away. Often it's a Lean Cuisine!

Hey, I'd like to answer your Hodepodge but I'm slow... I can't figure out how to do it. If you feel like giving me step-by-step instructions...I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

  6. I'm chuckling quite happily about the whole navel idea. If you'd have done that I'd have fallen off my chair in tears of laughter. Oh, you think like me...and that's just sort of scary! LOL! Have a great day!

  8. My dinner when my husband isn't home goes one of two ways; either I just do lettuce right from the bag, a couple of carrots and cup-a-soup, or I go all out and make something he won't eat but I love like pastitsio or ghallaba. I can't get him to try Greek or Middle Eastern. :( But, it's usually the salad and soup because I'm scrapping and I just don't want the growling to interrupt me. :)

Your pup IS cute as a button!

  9. Your dog is adorable and thanks for not showing your navel. haha

I forgot to take a picture of my dinner yesterday. It was good, but it wasn't pretty. Maybe I can find an old picture somewhere. I know cheating.
